Eramam Kuttur Service Co-operative Bank has a rich history that dates back to the mid-20th century. It all began when "Kuttur Aikyanananaya Sangh" was established in 1954 at the Kuttur center, followed by the formation of "Eramam Aikyanananaya Sangh" as "Perul center" in 1955. Recognizing the potential for greater impact and community service, these two organizations merged on February 28, 1973, giving rise to the Eramam Kuttur Service Society.
The Late former MLA Sri CP Narayanan, a visionary leader, assumed the role of the first president of the Sangh. Under his guidance and the collective efforts of passionate individuals, our institution took its first steps towards making a positive difference in the lives of people.
Inaugurating our operations on April 5, 1973, we embarked on a mission to offer accessible and reliable financial services to the local population, ensuring financial empowerment and fostering economic growth.
Over the years, Eramam Kuttur Service Co-operative Bank has demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to the communities we serve. In 1978, we reached a significant milestone by transforming into a Service Co-operative Bank, enabling us to expand our offerings and better cater to the diverse financial needs of our valued customers.
Our steadfast commitment to excellence and the trust placed in us by our members propelled us to achieve Class I Super Grade status on April 1, 2014. This recognition stands as a testament to our reliability, stability, and dedication to delivering top-notch banking services.
As a community-oriented institution, we take pride in having an extensive branch network. Apart from our well-established head office, we currently operate 11 branches that are strategically located to reach and serve a broader audience.
Recently, we expanded our reach further by inaugurating the ninth branch at Peruwamba, a move that brings us even closer to the people we serve.

To support our farming community, we have set up Fertilizer and Pesticide Sales Depots at Mathamangalam and Vellora.
